BEER FESTIVAL SCHEDULE - MAPS - FAQS

Sign up to be a volunteer at the Drink Like a Girl® Lake Fest Beer Festival and let's have some fun!  

Volunteers Receive:

1. Free T-Shirt

2. A ticket to the 5k, the 1k, or the Brewery Tasting (depending on the volunteer time slot chosen). 

3. Admission into Lake Fest

ANSWER: 

Lake Fest 2025 will not be chipped timed. However, the race will be video recorded and results will be posted 2 days after the event on Run Sign Up

After surveying participates from 2020 to 2023, it's clear our energy should be spent growing the festival!  Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback and growing this awesome festival together! 

This year, will increase the amount awards and swag bag to a minimum of the top 3 females and top 3 males. 

Yes, you can walk! You have one and a half hours to complete the course. Enough time to complete the 5k even at a stroll. All levels of fitness are welcomed and encouraged!

We also have beer festival awards for: "Best Costume" & the "PEOPLE'S BEER CHOICE AWARD" voted by attendees of the Brewery Tasting.  

ANSWER: 

We do not have a bag-holding area at the beer festival. Please leave any unnecessary personal belongings in your car or home

ANSWER: 

No one under 21 years of age is allowed on event grounds.

Dogs are allowed only in the festival area. Dogs are not allowed on the 5k or 1k.

ANSWER: 

Parking is available next to in Finger Lakes Welcome Center parking lot in the grass near the boat launch.

PLEASE, do not PARK IN THE WELCOME CENTER PARKING LOT. We will not be able to use this area if we upset our neighbors which includes 41 Lake Front Hotel and the Finger Lakes Welcome Center. Pull into the Welcome Center, turn left, then stay straight to park in the grass. (SEE PARKING MAP ABOVE)

Additional parking is available in downtown Geneva including - Seneca St. Parking Lot, behind Finger Lakes National Bank, adjacent to Geneva Recreation Center, Exchange St. Parking Lot next to Lyon's National Bank, and along local streets. 

ANSWER: 

Please stop at the ATM before arriving. There is no ATMs on the festival grounds.

ATMs can be found inside the Finger Lakes Welcome Center, Community Bank, Five Star Bank, Lyon's National Bank (on Canal St. and Exchange St.), and Byrne Dairy (on Castle St. and S. Main St.) in downtown Geneva, NY.

We highly suggest having cash before you park and utilize the Finger Lakes Welcome Center was needed during the event to help eliminate long lines at that ATM.

ANSWER: 

No one under 21 years of age may enter the Drink Like a Girl ®fairgrounds.

All Ticket Holders Must Bring:

1. A NYS License, Passport, or Government ID

2. A printed or digital ticket

All ticket holders must bring an ID and must show their ticket to enter the festival. The ID and Ticket information should match. If you do not have these two matching items, you will not be permitted to enter.

Cash is also highly recommended.

This is a 21+ Event. No one under 21 years of age may enter the Drink Like a Girl grounds.

As of 2023, Dogs are welcome! But, dogs are not allowed on the 5k or 1k. We can't wait to meet your furry friends!

Drink Like a Girl® urges all attendees to enjoy their time and drink craft beer responsibly. We recommend participants designate a sober driver or arrange transportation. Ubers and Taxi's are available, ask a Drink Like a Girl representative for contact information.

The beer festival will be held rain or shine. However, there is always the potential for extreme or severe weather conditions. Race organizers will do as much as we can to ensure the experience is as safe as possible. In the event of severe weather, the race may be delayed as race officials consult public safety officers. If there is more than a short delay, if conditions persist, or if the forecast calls for extreme weather, race officials reserve the right to alter or cancel the race. 

Any decision to cancel a craft beer festival is done as an absolute last resort and is made collectively with local risk management, police, fire & rescue, and medical personnel as appropriate. In such situations, there will be NO REFUNDS as registrants accept any such risk of their entry fee when signing up. 

Rain Date: TBA or you may choose to transfer your ticket to Lake Fest 2026.
